Christmas Card #2
Here is another card from my recent Christmas Card class. It features the single stamp Dasher that you can get for only $8.95 - what a great stamp! I used silver embossing powder on basic black cardstock to make Dasher "pop." But the real WOW factor on this card is the awesome silver glimmer paper - isn't is great? Think this card was the favorite of most at the class. I also used the Snow burst textured embossing folder on the strip of basic black that is underneath the whisper white top note die cut. Real red is the card base.

Christmas Card Class #1
Good evening - here is a look at one of the cards we did recently at my Christmas card class. I used a strip of the beautiful DSP from the Holiday Mini - Holly Berry Bouquet. Below it I embossed a piece of Wild Wasabi with the Finial Press embossing folder - didn't it turn out pretty? Layered those pieces onto Real Red cardstock and then layered that onto Chocolate Chip. Also wrapped a piece of Real Red 5/8 satin ribbon around the card. The greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set. Underneath I used a strip of the Basic Pearls. I used my Decorative Label, Scalloped oval, and large oval punches. I love this layout - you can make any type of card using it.

Christmas Wreath
Good morning - so what do you think of the wreath? This was my first attempt at making anything like this...and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! I will admit it took me over 8 hours to finish!! I was fortunate enough to have 2 extremely creative and fun ladies come over and we were able to give each other suggestions and moral support - thanks Vicki and Wendy! But the most important thing that both ladies brought.....A SCORING TOOL!! It is a must for a project such as this to make all of those beautiful rosettes, lollies, or whatever you want to call them. I think I will be ordering Stampin UP!'s new Simply Scored Scoring Tool as a birthday present for myself!!
I used DSP from the Holly Berry Bouquet paper pack in the Holiday mini as well as real red DSP and wild wasabi and chocolate chip card stock. I had fun using several different embellishments such as glimmer brads, basic rhinestones, antique brads, designer buttons, rhinestone brads, and baker's twine.

Snowman Box
Good afternoon - isn't this snowman adorable?? My great friend and upline Karen made these last year for a class and I had to copy! Behind the top note die cut is a fancy favor box in bashful blue. A whisper white top note is attached to the front and back of the box and then half of a basic black top note is attached on the top. I used the 5-petal punch to punch out a real red and an old olive flower for the hat. I also added a real red button with some white baker's twine tied in the middle. I sponged bashful blue around the edges to make him look a little more "snowy". A packet of cocoa mix and a cello bag of mini marshmallows fits perfectly inside for a wonderful winter treat.

Christmas Fun
Good morning! Here are 2 fun projects I made the other day. The first one uses the fancy favor Big Shot die. I used the colors Old Olive and Real Red for a traditional holiday look. I wrapped around some DSP and then added two 5-petal flower punches and put a cool red rhinestone brad in the center.
I used my new Box #2 die for the second project and I am really happy with how it turned out. The box is actually a bit bigger than I expected. I attached a piece of whisper white cardstock that I ran thru the Big Shot with the new snowflake embossing folder. I also covered some nugget candy with DSP, added it to a cello bag, tied it with the awesome 1/8 taffeta ribbon in whisper white and put it inside. Now I've got a cute gift to give!

New Technique
Hello everyone. Here's a card with a new technique I recently learned. I first cut out in whisper white a top note die cut using the Big Shot. Then I inked up the front cover of the Finial Press embossing folder using Crumb Cake ink. I ran the top note thru the Big Shot with the inked up embossing folder and voila! Isn't it awesome? The other colors used were soft suede and regal rose. Stamp sets used were Four Frames and Teeny Tiny Wishes. I've now done this card in several different color combos and I just love it. I got the idea off Stampin Connection.
